NEW ALBUM PREMIERE!

Janusz Wawrowski, one of the most recognizable Lithuanian composers Gediminas Gelgotas, and soprano Bogumiła Dziel-Wawrowska jointly announce their latest album “Consonance” – a unique harmony of Lithuanian, Polish, and Ukrainian cultures.

On October 25, the latest album by Janusz Wawrowski, Gediminas Gelgotas, and Bogumiła Dziel-Wawrowska, “Consonance”, will be released under Warner Classics. It will be available in both digital format and vinyl on the same day. The album offers a musical blending of three closely related cultures – Lithuanian, Polish, and Ukrainian, created in collaboration with the Lithuanian ensemble NICO Ensemble. “Consonance” is a journey through subtle emotions and reflections, where works by Mikołaj Górecki, Gediminas Gelgotas, and Valentin Silvestrov intertwine, forming a harmonious and profound sonic landscape.

Two singles promoting the album are already available on streaming platforms.

There will be an opportunity to meet Janusz Wawrowski during the Warsaw Audio Video Show on October 26 at 4:00 PM at the Sobieski Hotel (Audio Group Denmark Room).

“Consonance” is a unique project that combines the richness of contemporary music with emotional depth, reflecting the cultural ties between Poland, Lithuania, and Ukraine.

The album is published by Warner Music Poland. The project partner is the Zygmunt Noskowski Foundation. The album “Consonance” was created with the financial support of the Trzy Trąby Foundation.
