On the 21 of February Janusz Wawrowski will perform the Violin Concerto in E Minor by F. Mendelssohn with the Lublin Philharmonic Orchestra.

The performers:

Janusz Wawrowski – violin
Jerzy Zelnik – actor
Jacek Rogala – conductor

The programme:

J. Wieniawski – “Wilhelm Milczek” dramatic overture
F. Mendelssohn – Violin Concerto in E Minor, Op. 64
L. van Beethoven – “Egmont”, Op. 84

Okladka-Aurory“Aurora”  album (EMI Classics) by Janusz Wawrowskiego and José Gallardo has been nominated to the FRYDERYK AWARDS!

The FRYDERYK AWARDS are presented by the Phonographic Academy which associates nearly a thousand Polish musicians, authors, composers, record producers, music journalists and the recording industry.

L9999909Jose Gallardo_3On the 19th of February, in Warsaw, Janusz and José Gallardo will give a recital with Beethoven – Sonata No 4 in A minor, Karłowicz – Serenade, Weinberg – Rhapsody on Moldavian Themes, Ravel – Sonata No 2, Penderecki – Sonata No 1 and Three Miniatures, Wieniawski – Scherzo-Tarantelle, and Shostakovich, Preludes Op.34 No 10, 15, 16, 24.
