On the 4th of February at Teatr Polski in Warsaw, Janusz Wawrowski will take part in a spectacle for children “Pan Lutosławski”.

This unusual and appealing spectacle presents Witold Lutosławski as an outstanding composer, cultivated man, emphasising the fundamental role of art in the social life. The project is based on two intermingling plots: one is the Hans Christian Andersen fairy tale “The Nightingale” with music by Lutosławski and choreography by Artur Żymełka; and the other is a play written by Bogumiła Dziel-Wawrowska, showig crucial moments of Lutosławski’s life. During the spectacle Janusz Wawrowski and other young musicians will perform several of composer’s chamber works.
